By accessing or using DeployBrief ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (either an individual or an entity) and DeployBrief regarding your use of the Service.

DeployBrief is a deployment briefing platform that integrates with Azure DevOps to automatically generate and distribute deployment summaries. The Service includes:

• Azure DevOps pipeline integration and monitoring
• Automated deployment brief generation using customizable templates
• Team management and notification distribution
• API access for programmatic integration
• Workspace and multi-tenant support
• Security features including API key management

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Pricing Plans

DeployBrief offers various pricing tiers, including free and paid plans. Current pricing information is available on our website. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees.

Billing

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Payment is due immediately upon subscription or renewal
• We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Price Changes

We may change our pricing at any time. For existing subscribers, price changes will take effect at the next renewal period. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of price increases.

Taxes

You are responsible for all applicable taxes. If we are required to collect taxes, they will be added to your invoice.

As a user of DeployBrief, you are responsible for:

Account Security

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Using strong passwords and enabling available security features
• Properly managing and securing API keys

Content & Data

• The accuracy and legality of all data you submit to the Service
• Ensuring you have the right to use and share any content
• Compliance with all applicable data protection regulations
• Maintaining backups of any critical data

Compliance

• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respecting third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Following our acceptable use policies
• Using the Service only for its intended purpose

You may not use DeployBrief to:

• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service (except as permitted by law)
• Use automated systems to access the Service in violation of our robots.txt file
• Perform load testing or security testing without prior written authorization
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without permission
• Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or send unsolicited communications
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Collect or harvest information about other users without their consent

Our Rights

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, and design, is owned by DeployBrief and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service solely for its intended purpose. This license does not include any right to:

• Distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense
• Reverse engineer or extract source code
• Use for commercial purposes beyond the scope of your subscription

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to:

• Store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service
• Make backups and ensure service reliability
• Use aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement and analytics

We will not sell or share your content with third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

DeployBrief and associated logos are trademarks of DeployBrief. You may not use these trademarks without prior written permission.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Changes to Service

Your Termination Rights

Upon termination, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial periods.

Effect of Termination

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of third-party rights
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• That the Service will meet your requirements
• That defects will be corrected

Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEPLOYBRIEF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or errors
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Statements or conduct of any third party

IN ANY CASE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold DeployBrief harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your content or data
